why spiritual direction?
One of the great challenges we face is to make sense of our lives. Our spirituality, our relationships, our purpose. And we can’t do this alone. We need someone trained in the art of spiritual direction—a practice that originated with the Desert Mothers and Fathers of the 3rd and 4th centuries. Essentially, it is a gift of spiritual presence.
One scheduled meeting each month, about one hour. Usually online, unless you happen to be in the Greensboro, NC area. You talk about what’s happening in your life—what you are excited about, puzzled by, concerned about. Whatever you’re wanting to make sense of. Your director will listen with you to all that God is drawing you towards and talk about how to respond. How to lean into the invitations of your becoming.

why Kellie?
Kellie has the charism of spiritual presence. Trained at The Kinward Center, The Transforming Center, and The Phoenix Center for Spiritual Direction, Kellie offers spiritual direction, group spiritual direction, centering prayer groups, and Enneagram typing. She has a masters degree from Columbia International University, a doctorate from Portland Seminary, and has been mentoring women since 1990. Her passions are gender equality, the mystical journey, good wine, and her grandsons…not necessarily in that order!
